Kindlehill Community School
At Kindlehill we provide a learning environment that develops in each child the capacities to be a strong, creative, thinking and caring human being. We do this by recognising first and foremost the individuality of each child, developing each one's individual talents and gifts as well as a sense of wonder, grace and beauty.

We provide a warm, joy-filled and secure learning environment. We teach the children about the world around them, and ensure that they have the skills - practical, academic and creative - to lead active and fulfilling lives into the future.
All subjects are brought to the children artistically; colour, movement, story, music, sculpture and drama are all means by which the children acquire essential knowledge and skills, as well as being opportunities for self expression and social development.
The teachers work out of the insights given by Rudolf Steiner into child growth and development, implementing these in accordance with the impulse of the place and time in which we live.
At Kindlehill you will find:
- small, friendly classes
- rooms that are warm, colourful and artistically arranged
- a friendly community of families and teachers
- gardens to grow food and flowers
- animals to love and care for
- a large performance space for drama and music
- a well equipped practical arts room
- well set up outdoor play areas
A Community School
We are a community school with opportunity for involvement by parents: from artistic, creative and spiritual endeavours to the practical work that supports the school.
Playgroup
Our playgroup is a chance for the families of preschool aged children to come together and experience the warm, friendly atmosphere of the school. They are run by parents of the school.

Kindlehill is an independent kindergarten and primary school. It is situated in a quiet location at 8 Lake St Wentworth Falls. It is a 5 minute walk to the lake and a 10 minute walk to the village and train station. The site is large with ample play areas and gardens. Kindlehill was established in August 2000 and is registered with the NSW Board of Studies.
Visitors are always welcome and the school holds regular open days. There are also concerts and performances given by the children, teachers and parents. These are open to the wider community.
